The Nude in the 21st Century |

Gill Alexander Many of my drawings are stippled ink. Others are built from blocks of single value from markers. My subjects are people who are abstracted in some way from their immediate surroundings. They tend to be figures that are in the midst of heavily prioritizing one aspect of their sensory environment over others. I try to stress the way that daily life involves a complex visual syntax that we don't always notice as we experience it. | |
