I am a NW artist from Astoria who has been active in the local art community for almost 50 years. I have shown my work locally in various galleries and shops around the area since moving back to this iconic town 23 years ago. I was AVA artist in residence winter of 2016 with a studio space over the River's edge. I am also a musician and writer and have always worked through seasonal slumps by either picking up my paints or instruments and either painting/writing/playing away the blues. I struggle each time with the tech aspect of applying to these calls :-/
